I left early this morning, it was dark, and my headlamp was packed away deep in my backpack. I just followed some other pilgrims at a distance to make sure I didn’t fall in a hole.
Today’s 18 1/2 miles took us through more vineyards and up over high hills and steep valleys. I ran into the fellow, pushing the other fellow in a wheelchair and found out they are actually from South Korea. Fellow pushing is a South Korean Marine, and the fellow in the chair is paralyzed from the waist down. I got to spend some good time talking with them, and then hanging out in a pilgrim oasis in Viano. Good people.
I got to Logrono at 12:30. I guess that means I went 18 1/2 miles in six hours. And I got to stop a couple of times and rest. I’m getting a good workout.:)
And if it wasn’t for the yellow arrows on the Camino de Santiago, I’d be lost.
We passed the 100 mile mark today.

Great post. God bless that South Korean Marine.
Hi Roy - thanks for the great posts! I'm enjoying learning about the pilgrimage. Seeing all your photos brings it to life. Keep on trucking!
